CrossMark Policy

Crossmark is a multi-publisher initiative to provide a standard way for readers to know the current status of an article and additional publication registration information. By applying the CrossMark logo to article pages and PDFs, the Agronomy Science and Biotechnology (ASB) is committed to maintaining the content it publishes and alerting readers to updates, such as corrections and retractions, if and when they occur.

Disclaimers and corrections
A published article is part of the published record and will not be changed or removed. However, articles may need to be retracted or corrected to protect the integrity of the literature. When applicable, a notice of correction or retraction will be published and linked to the original article online.

Publication record information
When you click on the CrossMark logo, the publication record information will appear in addition to the article status. The following information is included: content type, copyright and licensing, the peer review process and publication history. Clicking on the Crossmark logo will tell you the current status of a document and can also give you additional information about the publication record about the document. " (CROSSREF, 2020).

The retraction mechanism follows the Retraction Guidelines of the Publication Ethics Committee (COPE) which can be accessed in COPE - Retratction Guidelines .
