Ensuring the blind review

Ensuring the blind review:
To ensure the integrity of blind peer review for submission to ASB, every effort should be made to prevent the identities of authors and reviewers from being known to each other. This involves authors, editors, and reviewers (who upload documents as part of their review) verifying that the following measures have been taken in relation to the text and file properties:

* The authors of the document must exclude their names from the text, with the literal "Author" and year used in the references and footnotes, as well as the name of the authors, title of the article, etc.
* In Microsoft Office documents, the author identification must also be removed from the file properties (see File menu in Word), by clicking on the following, starting with File in the main menu of the Microsoft application: File> Save as> Tools ( or Options on Mac)> Security> Remove personal information from file properties when saving> Save.
* With PDFs, the names of the authors must also be removed from the Document Properties, found in the File option in the Adobe Acrobat main menu.
* Authors' names and affiliations must be sent in a separate file (Title Page), in an editable Word file.
